1. Rental Agreement
By renting a dumpster from Lakeland Dumpster Rental, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. The rental period begins on the delivery date and is typically 7 days unless otherwise specified. Extended rental periods are available for an additional daily fee.
2. Acceptable Materials
Acceptable materials include general household junk, construction debris, yard waste, furniture, and appliances (non-refrigerated). Prohibited items include hazardous waste, chemicals, paint, tires, batteries, electronics, refrigerators, AC units, and asbestos-containing materials.
3. Weight Limits and Overages
Each dumpster size has an included weight allowance. Exceeding the weight limit will result in additional charges based on the extra tonnage. We will notify you of any overage charges before processing payment.
4. Placement and Access
The customer is responsible for ensuring adequate space for dumpster placement and access for delivery and pickup. The placement area should be level, firm, and free of overhead obstructions (e.g., power lines, tree branches). We are not responsible for damage to lawns, driveways, or other surfaces, though we take care to minimize impact.
5. Prohibited Uses
Dumpsters may not be moved once placed. Overfilling the dumpster past the fill line is prohibited. Materials must not extend above the top of the container. We reserve the right to refuse pickup of overfilled or improperly loaded dumpsters.
6. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon delivery or as otherwise agreed upon. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and checks. A deposit may be required for certain rentals.
7. Permits
The customer is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits if the dumpster will be placed on public property or right-of-way. We can assist with guidance on permit requirements.
8. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before delivery may be subject to a cancellation fee.
9. Liability
The customer assumes responsibility for the dumpster and its contents while on their property. Lakeland Dumpster Rental is not liable for damage, loss, or injury resulting from improper use, placement, or loading of the dumpster.
10. Indemnification
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Lakeland Dumpster Rental from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their use of the dumpster or disposal of prohibited materials.
11. Disposal and Recycling
We are committed to responsible waste disposal and recycling. Materials are sorted and processed in accordance with local regulations.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
